What are aged life insurance leads?
Aged life insurance leads are real consumers who filled out an online life insurance quote request 30 or more days ago. The request was first sold in real time through the PX marketplace. Once that window passes, the record moves into aged inventory at a lower price, with the same contact details, coverage and health answers, and consent trail.
Life insurance is a considered purchase. People often request a quote, then pause over price, a medical exam, or a life event. The need that prompted the request usually hasn’t gone away, which is why aged life records keep producing conversations.
What is in an aged life insurance record
Records follow the PX life insurance quote form. Most include:
Coverage request. Coverage type (term, whole, universal, or not sure), term length from 5 to 30 years, and coverage amount from $25,000 up to $5 million.
Personal details. Date of birth, gender, marital status, children, occupation, and education.
Health. Height and weight, tobacco use, medications, pre-existing conditions, hospitalizations, and family history.
Lifestyle. Hazardous activities, DUI history, and license suspensions.
Current policy. Existing life insurance company and policy dates, where the consumer has coverage.
Fields depend on what the original form captured. Your count confirmation includes fill rates before you buy.
Matching leads to products
Term life. Younger households with children and a coverage amount tied to income or a mortgage are classic term prospects.
Mortgage protection. Homeowners with a mortgage are natural mortgage protection prospects. Our aged mortgage leads can supply more of them.
Whole and universal life. Applicants asking about permanent coverage often want lifelong protection or cash value.
Underwriting fit. Health and tobacco answers help you route each prospect to simplified-issue or fully underwritten carriers before the first call.
How agents work aged life insurance leads
Filter before you buy. Order only the states where you are licensed, and match age range, coverage type, and coverage amount to the products you sell. Standard filters are free.
Load clean data. Scrub the file against the National DNC Registry under your own SAN, and upload your existing customers and open quotes for suppression so you only pay for new prospects.
Open with their original request. Refer to the quote they asked for instead of a cold pitch. Life insurance shoppers respond better to “you were looking at this a few months ago” than to a generic offer.
Work a multi-touch cadence. Combine calls, email, direct mail, and texts where you have consent over roughly two weeks. Our 14-day aged lead sales playbook lays out the sequence day by day.
Handle health data with care. Use health answers to prepare, but don’t repeat medical details in voicemails, texts, or emails.
Consent, verification, and compliance
Every aged life insurance record comes from a consumer-initiated quote request, most of them captured on the PX marketplace. Each file includes:
The TCPA consent text the consumer agreed to and the submission timestamp
A Jornaya LeadiD or TrustedForm certificate where captured, so you can verify the original lead event independently
Buying aged data doesn’t transfer your own obligations. You still need your own DNC subscription (SAN), state list scrubs, and a contact strategy that fits current TCPA rules for each channel you use. Our DNC compliance guide for aged leads covers the details.
